Many drugs work against contraceptives such as the pill and render it ineffective while taking a particular drug. So, they may have meant that if someone was on a chemical birth control method such as a pill, to be careful while on this particular drug as it may be rendered useless. This is definitely the case with antibiotics, as well as others. But yes, funny how they worded that :) Usually the side effects are pre-written and attached to the particular drug in the database, so someone in the pharmacy has obviously not changed the funny way in which it is presented.
